The Scout Movement in Israel is part of the global Scout movement and operates within the framework of the "israel Boy&giril Scouts federation" . The Scout movement was founded in 1919 and is the first, largest and most influential youth movement in Israel. The movement operates through informal education frameworks (tribes) and educates boys and girls in grades 4-12, both secular and religious, for social and Zionist  Today, the movement has about 90,000 members in about 230 tribes spread across the country. from Kiryat Shmona in the Nnorth to Eilat in the South. At the basis of Scouting education is the figure of the adult Scouter who is defined as a good and helpful citizen who actually fulfills the Scout's virtues and acts in the spirit of the Scouting promise. The Hebrew Scout aims to deepen the connection between the Jewish heritage and life in the State of Israel. The Scout will act  with tolerance and acceptance of the other, to create a common denominator and mutual guarantee between different equals in Israeli society. His / her personal abilities and their translation into action for the common good. The movement's diverse activities provide a social and educational solution, addressing the national challenges in the unique aspect of their time: Specialties - such as youth with special needs (ZMID), at-risk youth and new immigrants from the Diaspora, and in strengthening the Jewish-Israeli  connection in Israel and the Diaspora ("World Sabra Scouts" program). The Scout movement is a state, apolitical party movement. Its values are universal human values that are adapted to the values of the State of Israel. The movement educates for social involvement, Jewish-Israeli identity, democracy, helping others, friendship, equality and love of nature and protection. All this,  in the spirit of the Ten . The uniqueness of the movement is that it is a non-partisan youth movement. Its members acting together and enjoy a diverse space of plurality of opinions. The movement maintains its independence by not being supported by any party body and its funding comes from government support (Youth Movements Regulation and Year of Service Regulation), along with parental participation paid for the activity.  The tools and values that the movement imparts to its trainees have produced generations of graduates who integrate into key positions in all areas of social, medical, economical, and political activities in the  lead of the country . Over the years the Hebrew Scouts Movement received numerus high awards, including the Israel Prize (2007), a certificate of excellence from the Ministry ofmeland ecurity for the Scout activity  in 'Ofek Prison' with incarcerated youth (2019) and the Ministry of Justice Commission for Fulfillment Department, for the activities of the integrated communes (2019).
