 The Scouting Badge  Course


In 2005, for the first time, another course of the Federation was held, the Israeli Scouting Badge course.

The course is similar in content to the Wood Badge course, but is intended for members of the Scout movement in Detector 17 from all the NSOs/NSAsn of the Federation .

The course is named after Arieh Karuch, one of the founders of the Scout movement in Israel in 1919. The participation of the various NSOs/NSAs of the Federation in the course is according to the size of the movements, with 50% Jews and 50% Arab and Druze participants. The course staff is composed in the same way, This  makes it a course for the largest and only youth of its kind in the State of Israel, in which trainees from all parts of Israeli society work together.
