Neighboring tribes

As part of the association's educational activities, we are holding a project called "Neighboring Tribes" which aims to bring together different youth from all organizations and sectors. The project connects two different tribes from the same geographical area and creates joint activities for them. Some are understandable and some are based on the work of the campers and tribal leaders. The uniqueness of this project is the fact that the trainees have a common denominator and that is - "spectators". All the campers participating in the activity come from Scout tribes who are founded and represent the principles of Scouting. During the meetings, the trainees form personal connections, are exposed to the cultures of other committees and even bridge the gaps that exist in Israeli society.

Educational rationale:

During the "Neighbor Tribes" project, we strive to create peace-loving adult viewers who can deal with the various complexities of Israeli society. Adult scouts who come from scout movements and organizations with an expanded basket of values, contribute to society, respect others regardless of religion, race and gender and even work for life together in Israel.

We strive to see long-term friendships that are formed from the neighborhoods of the tribes and the joint activity. We strive to see long-term collaborations between the neighboring tribes in their area.

Objectives:

Strengthening the connection and acquaintance between the youth representing the diversity of cultures and religions in Israel using Scouting activities, collaborations and joint meetings. Creating communication between the youth based on a common acquaintance of cultures, customs, lifestyles, communities and family. Building a broad and deep foundation for cooperation between members Neighboring tribes in their geographical area. Establishing a healthy and stable infrastructure that will enable in the future the transformation of Israeli society into a common life and "coexistence" through graduates of movements and Scout organizations from all organizations.
